Randy Travis, The Country Singer Nabbed For a Nake DUI

Randy Travis, the famous country singer definitely knows how to get arrested, while making it spicy!!! The country singer was nabbed on suspicion of misdemeanor DWI an more this past Tuesday, Aug. 7th, 2012 in the evening. It happened in North Texas, allegedly he was arrested for elements of nudity, nicotine, and more than one 911 call all intertwined into his evening. The most wild part was the indecent exposure.

There was some more serious parts of the night. The events included a single car collision and an alleged threat to shoot and kill his arresting officers which resulted in Travis being held on a charge of retaliation, a third-degree felony that carries up to 10 years behind bars and a $10,000 fine.

Before the singers arrest on that wild Tuesday night, a convenience store clerk had dialed 911 to report a naked man, a regular customer who wore clothes in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Travis reportedly had gone into the store seeking cigarettes and left in frustration when asked how he would pay for them.

Then there was another 911 call a little after 11 p.m. describing a man lying on the side of the road. Troopers found a Pontiac Trans Am that had been driven off the road and into some construction barricades, as well the 53 yr. old singer was the regeistered owner of the car, naked, bruised and smelling like alcohol.

Additionally, gave the alleged threats to "shoot and kill the officers working the case" after the DUI/DWI arrest. He also refused to take the blood-alcohol breath test, so blood was drawn later that evening at the hospital. He was later released on $21,500 bail, and caught on film in light blue scrubs, bare feet and a University of Texas ball cap.

This is his 2nd strange, alcohol related arrest this year. In Feb., he was arrested on a public-intoxication charge after being found allegedly slurring his words and smeeling of booze, parked at a Baptist church with on open bottle of wine in the front seat of his Pontiac. Good luck Mr. Travis!!!!
